New Channel: Telegram Bot, Telegram Group

The Altcraft Platform has two new sending channels: a telegram bot and a telegram group. Now you can be even closer to your customers. Use a bot or a group to send the necessary information on a schedule and invite users to buy a product in a few clicks.

What is the difference between a bot and a group?

A bot is a communication channel that allows you to send messages to subscribers who have joined it. And besides, in the bot, followers do not have the ability to communicate with each other.

The group is a chat with an unlimited number of participants who can discuss the content posted there.

To start using the telegram bot in Altcraft Platform, you need to create a resource and add the telegram bot token to it. When a subscriber connects to a bot by clicking the word «Start» in it, this bot will send messages to the user. To do this, you will have to manually collect Subscriber IDs and import them into the platform.

The bot can also be attached to a telegram group or channel. Take the id of the group or channel, add it to the platform and take your time posting through Altcraft.

The following message options are available in the template: text, photo, audio file, document and video. You can attach buttons with links to the resources you need to the text message. You can also send gif images.

Facebook Custom Audiences Integration

There is a new type of integration in the Altcraft Platform. Sync Altcraft Platform static segment data with Facebook custom audiences for retargeting. To do this, you need to create a new static segment in the platform for each Facebook custom audience.

To add synchronization, click on the word «Integrations» in the main menu. At the top of the page, click the «+ Create» button, and then select the type of integration — Facebook. For detailed configuration of the integration, go to our documentation.

Sending Push via HMS (Huawei)

A new provider, Huawei Mobile Services, has become available for platforms based on Android and iOS. Now you will not ignore the Huawei products, because, as you know, you can send push notifications to their devices only through HMS.
